As experienced and compassionate oral surgeons, all our doctors ensure that your journey toward a new smile is as comfortable and transparent as possible.

If you’ve ever wondered what the patient journey looks like from initial contact to post-surgery, we’ve outlined the steps below! If you’re ready to regain your confidence in your smile, don’t hesitate to contact us today. We’d love to hear from you.

Initial Contact/Consultation Booking:
When a patient calls to schedule a consultation, our team warmly welcomes you and takes the time to understand your unique needs. We explain any necessary paperwork or instructions and make sure you feel comfortable and supported from the first interaction.

We know the dentist’s office is not everyone’s favorite place, which is why our team goes the extra mile to make sure you’re aware of each step of the process and are comfortable from the moment you walk in the door.

Pre-Consultation Preparation:
You will receive friendly reminders via text or email, including helpful guidance on arriving at the office, insurance information, financing options and any pre-appointment preparations. We’re here to answer any questions you might have beforehand, easing any concerns.

We want our patients to feel informed about each step in their dental journey process and that starts before you walk through the door at New Teeth Now!

The First Meeting: Listening to Your Story
When you sit down with Drs. Sharafi, Evans or Zandevakili for your initial consultation, they take the time to introduce themselves and, more importantly, listen to you. They encourage patients to share their personal stories—what has brought you to this point, the challenges you’ve faced, and why you’re considering a New Teeth Now dental procedure. This is the time when your doctor will explain all additional treatment options.

Our doctor’s priority is to create a safe environment for each patient, starting with an open dialogue to ensure that your concerns are addressed from the start.

Thorough CBCT Scan Review
After understanding your goals and concerns, our doctors shift their focus to a detailed review of your CBCT scan. This critical step allows them to assess the health and structure of your bone. They carefully explain the scan results, ensuring you understand why you are a candidate for the New Teeth Now procedure. Our doctors will measure the bone and outline where each implant will be placed, offering you a clear picture of how the procedure will work for you.

Comprehensive Health History Review
Your health is as important as the procedure itself, and our doctors will thoroughly review your health history with you during the consultation. This step ensures that there are no underlying conditions that could affect the success of the surgery, and it also allows them to tailor the procedure to your specific needs.

Answering All Your Questions

We place a huge emphasis on patient comfort at New Teeth Now and it’s our goal that by the time your consultation ends, you will have a clear understanding of the procedure and feel confident in the next steps.

Once all questions and concerns are addressed, our treatment coordinator will come in to guide you through the logistical aspects of scheduling and payment options.

Pre-Surgery Preparation:
Once a treatment plan is confirmed, we take impressions and photos to ensure a precise and personalized fit for the final prosthesis. Patients receive detailed instructions for preparing for their surgery, including dietary restrictions and guidelines for medication, along with a checklist for the day of surgery.

Day of Surgery
This is it – the day where you will walk out the doors with a radiant smile!

On the day of surgery, patients check in and are greeted by our caring team, who are ready to assist you and provide comfort throughout. We make sure you are relaxed and understand the steps of the procedure. Our oral surgeon performs the surgery, with our supportive staff available at every point.

Post-Op Care and Recovery
After surgery, we carefully review all post-op care instructions with you, making sure you feel fully prepared for their recovery. Our team provides contact information for any questions you may have during recovery, schedules follow-up visits, and remains available for anything you need in this critical healing phase.

Follow-Up and Long-Term Care
We conduct several follow-up appointments to guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident and supported through your individual healing process. Four to six months after surgery, your final prosthesis is placed, completing the transformation. From there, you only need to return twice a year for routine cleanings, and we’re always here to provide exceptional care and answer any questions you may have as they enjoy their restored smile.

At SD Oral Surgery, our doctor’s commitment to patient care ensures that your experience is not just about getting a new smile—it’s about being heard, understood, and fully informed. To schedule an appointment with us today, please visit our website: https://www.newteethnow.com/
